You know, its hard to say sometimes what really makes us happy. Lemonade, swimming pools, farmer tans, sleeping in; they're all what summer;s about. With all the work of the school year, it's hard to believe some of us even have the energy to click a remote, put on sunscreen, or .. write a LiveJournal entry for that matter. So I woke up this morning and I realized something.

I'm 18.

But, today ... I'm not only 18.

I'm 18 ... and a half.

And will continue to be until my next birthday.
So welcome back half-birthday-acknowledgement, haven't seen you since elementary school.

Good to be back.

This deserves a warmhearted, yet modest celebration.
