It's been weeks since I last wrote, maybe because I figured everyone already read my vents on Facebook and on the skating message boards.   Since my last post,   my aunt was diagnosed with ovarian cancer,  she had surgery which showed the cancer spread to her intestines.  While in the hospital recovering from the surgery,  she developed pneumonia, ( Read more... )

My father died last week,  it wasn't unexpected, he had been on life support for two weeks and the doctors said he would either have to be removed from life support or kept on it indefinitely in a nursing home.    My dad's living will said he did not want to be kept alive artificially if there was no chance of recovery,  so my mom allowed the life ( Read more... )
