It's been a busy day for me today. I had wanted to bleed the braking system on Hermione as the pedal travelled a bit too far towards the floor for my liking, and I reckoned there was some air in the hydraulics causing that. Ah, it wasn't that bad, but left that way, things would only get worse. One of the problems about being an ex-mechanic is that everything has to be 'just right'. I won't skimp on items like brakes. Especially since my only outlay is on parts. If I'm going to be travelling god knows how many miles around Europe, I want the thing to be right, which is why I'm using the next 3 or 4 weeks to give everything a good going over.
