Now what I'm wondering is, how is Jack going to get on with them, since Torchwood are supposed to be anti-doctor?

I'm not even sure if they'll explain much about the Doctor himself directly or if they'll save it for Jack on DW later (if he turns up, probably wondering where Rose is, there's a chance his people will be mixed up in there somehow).

Heh, we'll probably get fewer answers than we want. Gwen is probably our "asks questions so we know what's going on" character but as she's a police woman and probably wants to appear more astute than asking things directly every time.

I'd have assumed that he would have looked her up, or Mickey at least. Because they stop back quiet often, and I'm sure he'd have wanted to talk.

Though he still probably had his super phone, and as the Doc and Rose had one too, surely he tried to call them for a lift?
