Went to Tescos on Tuesday and came back with Häagen-Daaz Pralines and Cream ice-cream, flapjacks, strawberries, Raspberry Ruffle bars and fruit juice. I may or may not have been craving sweet things. Heatwave or OVEN?
WHAT is the idea here? It is just not on. The UK is just not made for this, we don't have air conditioning in homes, and I only have one fan and so I may die. Because of the MELTING HEAT. I watched Jude last night and didn't cry! That's just insane, it's a horribly sad with much sobbing type movie and my body just... couldn't spare the tears. ( Read more... ) -

It's raining, but I don't care.
It's my birthday, of course, and while I didn't wear my "Spoil me, please." badge I still got some fun gifts ie. a replacement Motorola V3 phone, as the last one recently decided it didn't want to let me call people anymore, a bright pink DVD player, some money, bedroom stuff and shoes. So, I may be a little hyper right now, because HELLO iPod video, with all your super-shinyness and 30GB space for so much music I could possibly explode in glee! Oh bother.
Mum has developed a new fixation: buying furniture, which does mean new seating - always good in this house - but we'll run out of room at this rate. Yesterday? She bought a Louis XIV style chair and a chaise lounge, something similar to those pictures ( Read more... ) -
