My music buddy is going off to a slightly distant college.
We met pre-summer. She is music therapy-esque oriented. Is into this thing I think of as "musical brainstorming." Is separated from her kids who are autistic. This "musical brainstorming" turned into "sessions," which were eventually moved to the YWCA.

Unbirthday. Began with UGR work -- getting stuff at Meyers' Residence. Then I fell asleep. Then some trumpet, and off to laser tag. Moe and Audrey present. Arcade games with Bro, then Moe. December 15th was the show for the YWCA kids. Before the 15th, I had played some thing at sccc; afterwards, when everyone else was grateful to be done with it, I wanted to keep playing. Just played at sccc's chamber thing. First thing was fine, but I kept playing from too high in my midsection. Last piece I did stupid things. And who's fault is that? BUT... my technique is so much better. That is good.
I cannot escape myself, but I cannot go back, and apologies mean nothing. There is no respite; only next time. Kinda like swords.

I have many little wishes, but they are all of little significance. I think that all I really want is "supreme trumpeting ability." Or, more precisely, to be able to immediately execute whatever I imagine; to have a clear pitch memory; to read music as I read text; to not be limited to what I imagine. And probably other stuff, too.

67: Couchsurfer No. 1
Whoops. So much for whatever I may have typed in older posts. Oh well.
I had my first couchsurfer yesterday night. He is Italian. Like "from Italy" Italian, not "I am of Italian descent" Italian. Although he is that, too.

I went to school yesterday. Every monday, wednesday, and friday, I have an eight o'clock class, and then another class in the afternoon/evening. So I got there for this class. Then I practiced. I went to school today in the snow. I was late. I played a trumpet. I played duets, and was not entirely pleased by this. I sat in a car with Clarinetist Court and Saxaphone Sam.
