Hearing so much negative press recently about Romney, I decided I needed to go straight to the ‘horse’s mouth’ to find out what I would be looking at if he got elected.  I spent quite a bit of time this morning on his official web-site.  I found some things that I could support there.

Has anyone read about the recent brouhaha involving the USADA stripping Lance Armstrong of his seven Tour de France titles?  I should be asking if anyone hasn’t read about it, right?  I’m hoping this is becoming old news.zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz…….But, I did want to weigh in on this one.

It’s voting time again.  As usual, I am impressed with the Washington Voters’ Pamphlet which allows candidates to present a bit of information to the voters in an easy to read format.  The pamphlet is 100 pages, so ‘pamphlet’ is a bit of a misnomer, but what a helpful book. Over two thirds of missions sent to Mars have failed.

Currently on Mars, there is one active rover on the surface (Opportunity), and three orbiters (Mars Odyssey, Mars Express, and Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter) surveying the planet. In less than two hours, we hope there will be another rover, Curiosity.

We visited the King Tut exhibit last weekend at the Science Museum. It certainly was fascinating seeing all of those items that still exist after all these years.  Especially when we live in such a disposable world where our everyday items practically disintegrate in our hands the first time we use them.
