Bureaucracy has been bureaucratic, and I've been a bit crap.

Kay's view on a funeral service was pretty much:

i would like to be there BUT I'm supposed toi be with and looking after the_borderer in a big event in Berlin, something she been looking forward to for two years. I could possibly try flying back to the UK, but...

I guess is this something I should be at...
