Things are moving along steadily. I know that in a year or a few years from now, things may slow down but right now they are moving at a good quick pace that I am actually really ok with. There has been a recent development in my financial/wanting to buy a house world. Spring is coming and so are tons of job openings. I have been keeping my eye on the classifieds of several different sources. I send out at least 1 resume every 2 weeks. This week alone I found 4 jobs that I'm qualified for and, aside from them not being within walking distance, don't look too bad. I'm hesitant about sending the resume out anymore ( Read more... )

Whilst having a pitcher of dark beer in frosty mugs and pizza last night, Rovenko's mother told me about what a sweet little baby Rovenko had been.

Sappy as it is... it made for one of the best Saturday nights I've had in a long time. (Omitting New Years of course... because nobody's momma is going to beat that one)

Who are all of these people and what jobs do they have to be able to afford tiny condos for over $200K?

I can get twice the house... plus a pool for half the price in a million other cities. Buying real estate in Chicago is just like buying a fucking name brand. GGGRRRRRRR!
