You're coming over to the Festival???
Tell us more.
Maybe you can catch Rickman's play My Name is Rachel Corrie there (or, even better, catch Rickman!LOL)
My pal goes to Edinburgh every year so I shall tell her to come and see you.

Yeah-- my school sends a group of people every 2 years and the director of it also happened to direct me in our fall production of As You Like It so I got lucky in getting asked by him-- we'll be over there performing every day between 11 and 1. I don't know which little theatre we've got yet, we're still working out the details for that part of it.

My goal is to see a play a day. Whether or not that play is the same play for all 7 days...is still open for discussion. My other goal is to buy Alan Rickman a drink, which I think could happen because I'm a really tepid and casual fan of his work now, strictly professional-like, and therefore would harbor no feelings of shyness or intimidation. I've evolved in this way perhaps, or at least channeled my zealotry elsewhere.

(of course the drink-buying goal is contingent upon seeing him, which I realize I left out in that comment heh)
