my 3rd graders are in charge of australia/NZ for cultural night so we made cardboard boomerangs yesturday! My cooperating teacher and I looked on youtube for a video to see a boomerang being thrown this is what we found... pay attention to the kangaroo haha! I seriously laughed all day about it!
YAY!!! I'm SO glad you made it! I've been really worried about you, thinking a lot in a wishful way about whether everything would work out (but I was a little afraid to ask, because I didn't want to stress you out more), and I'm so so happy to hear that you're there and everything is hunky-dory! I'm a little jealous - while it's warm here, it's not TOO warm (I'm wearing a sweatshirt over my summer pajamas) and I've been thinking with envy about how warm it is in Australia right now! :) Ah well, at least I've escaped the -30 temperatures, so that's good! Well, I hope you do update as frequently as you promise, because I am dying to hear about your experience. Good luck and I'll check your journal frequently!
