Just thought I'd let you know that I've jumped ship...

The screening was good. Lots of impressive works.

I liked a lot of them, but there were a few standouts that are still quite fresh in my mind. And is it just me or was there a lot of doggy business going on that night? A lot of the documentaries screened had an "awwwww" factor, due to too much cuteness from our little furry friends.

 SO we're pretty much on our own now.

We've been editing down at the dungeons  suites, or as Rita likes to call it - Basement.

Fun times.

Everyone is always there.

It's crunch time.

We've got our structure pretty much sorted out.

It's no surprise that I love The Cove. I originally wanted to make a documentary about dolphins (remember that, Liam? heh.) but twas not meant to be...

But that doesn't mean I'm not going to use other dolphin documentaries as a guide.

Just going through the feedback again to get ideas.

I'm going to stick with some of these comments because they are really really helpful.
It looks like people generally like it and want us to do well, that's why they gave us such awesome feedback to try to help us improve.

What an embarrassing rough cut we have.

Compared to everybody else's in our class, ours looked horrible! All the docos in my class were amazing. And I mean it. Banana Boat, The Last Dance, New Deco. We saw them come together slowly, from bits and pieces to fully functional, well told structure and narrative.

Something about Forbidden Lies though I can't remember exactly what...

I liked it though. The doco. We watched the whole thing last sem for True Lies and I thought it was a very different doco from the ones I've seen so far.
