I have had cause to lament today, and what better way to lament than with a pointless livejournal entry. Firstly, Culture Shock. Many Melbournians will remember this crazy shop on Flinders Street just up from Degraves Street; it was a treasure trove of raver, hippy, goth, metal, whatever trash and trinkets, and best of all, it was cheap. I broke my dragon necklace that mum bought me ages ago.. I remember seeing one exactly like it in Culture Shock *sigh*

The BEST places to go op-shopping are in country towns. I sware, you get the most awesome stuff at bargain prices!

I saw a gentleman of 60 of years of age yesterday wearing the biggest freakin' ankh I've ever seen. We're talking serious neck damage here.

Damn, I could have tracked him down and mugged him for, maybe even using the anhk itself!

Oh well, I think the costume was a success anyway, even if it was minus the ankh, and the severe line of blush we decided was necessary as an afterthought.
