I had some extra free time tonight because my class got out early, so I decided to go to Border's and peruse their music DVD section (how predictable). I ended up purchasing a live DVD of the Cranberries (live in London [1994]) as well as Seal's Live in Paris DVD. The last thing I bought was Kim Cattral's (Samantha from Sex and the City) book ( Read more... )

I used to listen to the cranberries back in 1995, so I wouldn't say they were less popular then, more that they kinda died since then!

Or at least that's how the trend was here!

Wahey, Go Ireland! Glad to see u still remember us so fondly :) Im a bit of a Cranberries fan myself, they do have an extreme Irishness about them. They were absolutely massive in the US with No Need To Argue though (and not so big in Ireland funnily enough), I didnt know they were coming back again. Glad to see ur not letting the important stuff in life (ie music :) fall away, it's what makes life worthwhile!

Loo,
what's up? It's been awhile ol' friend. Yes. Dolores's sings to my soul. I have the Live in London DVD and it is fantastic. Actually though they're from Limeick not Cork, however they're relatively close. It's crazy to think how many awesome musicians come from Ireland which is not even the size of Michigan ya know? It must be something in the water over there. Are you graduating soon? I'm done with classes in Decemeber but I have to student teach until April so I will be graduating in May!!! Are we going to graduate together? oh yeah and then I'm getting married on May 13th... Ahhhh!!! I know it's crazy.

Limerick it is! I'll be doing an internship next semester and one class, so I'll unfortunately be graduating December 2006.
