[Another day, and Riku's feeling fairly bored. He hasn't had a lot to say over the journals as of late, but hey, it's been a while. And with such an... interesting cycle, he might as well say something.

So, Lucetians, witness Riku as he boredly looks into this magical book and speaks.]So. I think it's pretty obvious that Luceti's got some ' ( Read more... )

[This is the sort of question that always drives Robert to want to answer it.

Still, his voice is awkward and uncomfortable, as it generally is.]

... On T-Terra, all sapients are... on equitable footing.

The sheer diversity of h-hominid forms here is... very fascinating, compared to my own... m-multiverse.

They just do. It's pretty standard back home.

There must be... a r-reason for such a thing to happen.

[Everything has a reason, to Robert. Sane or not, it has a reason. Things happen because of certain processes.

...

Yeah, that kind of thinking won't always work in Luceti.]

It's just natural. Worlds are made up of light and darkness, just like people.

[He doesn't see what's so odd about this, nope.]

But would that not... imply that a world had some sort of sentience or emotion...?

[... And planets have never been demonstrated to be able to do that, before. Not in Robert's world, anyway.]

Hard to say if they do or don't. Their hearts might even be different from human hearts, other than what they're made of.

[Now that's an interesting concept.] How can you objectively... t-tell that a world has a heart...? Is there some method of, er, m-measuring it?

I've seen the Keyholes that lead to a world's heart. I've opened a path to a world's heart before.

They're definitely real.

[Well, that doesn't help him - it's hearsay - but at this point it's probably the best he has to go on.]

... Can you tell if Luceti h-has one...?

Haven't seen a Keyhole yet, but it's possible.

And what does one have to do to... make this K-Keyhole appear?

It's mostly a matter of finding it... and wielding a Keyblade, usually.

[That sounds... potentially promising, but...]

How... d-does one wield these Keyblades...? Or, er, even locate them...?

... Though... I s-suppose the Malnosso would restrict access to them, if they... h-had properties like this.

You've gotta be chosen in order to wield a Keyblade... and they can be summoned at any time.

Keyblades aren't blocked here, either. Could be that the Keyhole to this world just isn't in the enclosure.

... Ah, that is... c-certainly a possibility.

I did wish to... properly investigate the b-barrier, at some point. Er, more substantially... [... Not that he really has any easy way to do this, and part of him is worried it'll mess with his nanocomputer's properties. Clearly this is something to ask Don about.]

... M-Much of Luceti has... fascinating physics to contemplate. [Like the Filial spirits. He's not even sure how to go about analyzing those - he still hasn't really been able to make contact.]

Yeah, and most of them don't make sense.

[Especially the Shifts, at least from a scientific perspective.]
