Sala Udin wrote my mom and I a thank-you note for the card we sent after Patrice died. Aww. Though he called my mom "Julie"...but that's alright. He also referred to us as his "friend" (I'm Sala Udin's friend now--awesome!). And he wrote "I thank you again and again" at the end which was a nice touch, I think. :)

I just got back from seeing "Rent". Oh. My. God. This is the second recent American movie that I have seen in less than a week, and LOVED!!!! Everyone put on your to-do lists and agendas: "go see 'Rent' and 'Walk the Line' because Christina said so." Usually, most American films made after, oh, say, 1980 are either shit or trash.
