Guards, as long as both Bastet and Bell are [ brief pause ] incapacitated, you are to report to me with no hesitation. We don't know how long we'll have to wait before they're back.

Everyone else, do not try to experiment on the cocoons. The well-being on the people trapped in them is more important than satisfying your curiosity ( Read more... )

The writing is more forceful than normal. He's trying to convince himself too. spandexisyouth October 1 2010, 20:48:44 UTC

He is alive. He will find a way out. [pause.] I am sorry. They will.

You have proved before to have great patience. Don't get me wrong, I still consider you utterly irritating, but that one trait of your personality can prove particularly useful now. That is, unless what I saw was only a façade and you aren't actually what you show yourself to be.

I'm fine.

Should I be worried? Since you're asking after my health.

Don't delude yourself, inside or outside a cocoon you are useless just the same. I was merely trying to figure out how many people are currently trapped, and Castor would definitely know if either you or your brother were.

Ah, I was just about to write a quick note. I have one of the cocoons and we've been asked to watch over it until any changes are made.

Would I have your cooperation in bringing as many as we can to one place to oversee this [Pause. What the hell can one call this, anyway?] process? Metamorphosis?

I just wrote not to experiment on the cocoons. We are not going to move them from where they are. You do realize you can't drag people away from their homes against their will, don't you?

Watching over one of them will be more than enough.

I never wrote that they would be experimented on, simply monitored away from the elements and within the hands of the Medics should something go wrong when and if they emerge.

If that is too much to ask, I could post a Medic in each of the locations of the confirmed cocoons, though to minimize risk the cocoons must all be located and accounted for.

Lastly, you mentioned Bastet and Bell... do you know when they became trapped?

You will not move the cocoons from where they are. I doubt Medics will be needed, and in that case they could surely arrive quickly, so I don't deem it necessary to have them watch over the cocoons.

Why do you want to know?
