According to CNN via Youtube, George Bush is trying to pass a bill which, among other things, gives his entire cabinet immunity to being charged with War Crime accusations.

Hey, I'm trying to remember a scene from...something. A movie? A TV show? A cartoon?

Someone tries to kill someone with a downward cut of a sword, but the defender grabs it by clapping it between two hands, finally breaking the sword in half and retaliating with the piece that broke off.

Anybody help?

Tonight's Minutes

Tonight's conversation with Andrew Conley was especially good. Topics of discussion included Norse Mythology, DnD (and the entire storyline for the Illinois campaign), Alan Moore's work, and Unitarian Universalism.

That might be as close to my religion as can be discussed without actually describing ideas.

I went to Chicago! It's a beautiful city. I always thought that my folks were a little bit lame for thinking the art of architecture is pretty nifty, but god damn.
