my car made it, suprisingly enough. the three of us in our own vehicles (one of which was hauling a trailer loaded up with beds, couches, desks, books, odds and ends) hit the road at around seven pm out of tallahassee. that night we made it half way through louisiana before bedding down at a best western. the next day we crossed into texas. texas ( Read more... )

i hate it when someone's away message says "packing" or "un-packing". that takes like 5-20 minutes depending on if you are just going back to college after a few weeks of vacation or if you are moving somewhere for good. i can't deal with people that make such a big deal of the most trivial tasks. punch yourself, tu-hien.

the florida clean air act is a disgrace. apparently, the voters of florida, and probably america in general, are weak minded and easy to manipulate. who amends a state constitution in order to boss hard working resturante owners around? does the goverment fund, in any way, these establishments? how does the state of florida have the right?
