Always Attract (Chapter 85)

“So do you like baseball? At all?”

They were already in their seats waiting for the game to start. Reid had his beer in front of him (after much assurance from Luke that it was okay for him to drink) and Luke was satisfied with his own beverage of a plain Pepsi. He was currently munching on popcorn, while Reid sat with a plate of loaded nachos on ( Read more... )

Loved how you brought baseball history into this story while they were at the game. I freaking love baseball so it's good to read the history of a team. And I died laughing about what the Cubs stands for. Love that Reid told Luke that he was hot. And Luke licking his finger knowing that Reid is watching. They attraction is still there. :) That made me happy. But I'm freaking pissed at Casey. I understand why Matt did what he did. But Casey didn't have to bring Amber to Oakdale knowing that he can run into Matt there. Ugh!! Fucker!!! And now he's into women again? What the hell happened to his feelings for Matt? And please get Matt away from Jared!! Matt deserves so much better. Bah!!! Luke and Reid in the end. <3 My heart fluttered picturing them on the couch fingers intertwined. Yay!! Love it. Love this. Dislike Casey. Hugs to Matt. Can't wait for the next chapter.

Casey still has feelings for Matt, but it doesn't really matter, does it because Matt broke up with him, so it doesn't really do him any good to sit around and dwell on it for the next three years. Trust me. I'm mad at Casey too, but I think his only real crime is not giving anyone some warning as to him bringing a guest along when he came home.

I love that time has passed and that Luke & Reid are becoming friends! Great dialog, like that they can really talk honestly with each other about everything!
Oh Casey you idiot! *slaps him*
I understand what Matt's doing with Jared, even though I don't like it. I think he knows what an ass Jared is and that means he won't let his heart get too attached so it doesn't get broken. Please make this better, Matt deserves happiness.
Excellent as always sweets! TY

Ah...the best part is you and this fic. I am a pile of goo too. I love that they are talking and a date. Did I mention that I am a pile of goo?

I love how they have both become comfortable in their own skin especially Luke. I love the honesty. I love the flirting.

I just love this, all of it.

My heart is fluttering too.

Luke is definitely becoming more and more comfortable with himself.

What was Casey thinking? You know what? I hope Casey did that to get to Matt and get him to re-think about their break up.

Shit, I did not even realize Matt and Casey had broken up. Hope you mend fences there. Hand holding is a start, and they are so damn natural. You write Reid and Luke so damn great. Can't wait for the next chapter to see what transpires. Still keeping fingers crossed for Matt and Casey.

I think Casey was more hurt than he realized he could be by Matt ending things. They had practically just gotten together and he accepted his feelings and then BAM! it's over. Not to say he doesn't genuinely like who he's with now. It's just a matter of who he likes more. Not that Matt would necessarily take him back anyway. They might not even ever get to that point. Eh. But all that's later on, lol.

That's what I felt for Casey as well. He just discovered his feeling for Matt, took a chance to come out and was hopeful to develop this relationship with Matt; but Matt just broke up with him because Casey was admitted to a law school at another city. I feel for both but I think Matt should have tried to work things out with Casey instead of taking the separation route. Now that I'm not worried about Luke and Reid, I really hope Casey and Matt could reconcile instead of being hurt by their own idiotic behaviour.
