Yesterday morning Stokely jumped off of my bed and was instantly paralyzed. He hasn't been able to walk since then but is starting to make slight progress by pushing himself up, albeit only briefly. Rosie's dad died three weeks ago on Saturday.  I still can't believe it.  When I think about it I almost feel as if I'm being choked, more than a lump in my throat, I feel like I can't breathe.  I've never had that feeling before.  Sometimes I get so worked up about this happening to my mom that I can't even think straight.  Rosie is all alone.  ( Read more... )
