So, my entire family has officially survived the first day away on holiday together. I have finally started my Christmas shopping. Which is a problem because I haven't actually finished said shopping which means I have 4 days to do so before heading to the central coast for a family holiday. It can't just be me who finds it logical that if you are assigning boxes numbers to identify them that you only assign each number to one box so you have one box numbered one, one box numbered two ect... Yay - I finally started my Christmas cake by putting the fruit in the Sherry to soak. I probably should have done this a couple of weeks ago but I didn't. Now I have to start thinking about the million other things I need to do before Christmas. But first the cake.

And for once the cake is cooked more then a week before Christmas.

Greens Senator For Tasmania, Bob Brown, put a motion to the senate this afternoon calling on the Government to reexamine the closure of the National Archives offices in Darwin, Hobart and Adelaide and it was agreed.
