Fuck the 'correct'...

I had a friend of mine bullied today. All because of her chosen path of worship. For, you see, no other group besides Native Americans have spirit animals. Or some such. (Sarcasm). Really? Boy , do you have to study history more. And worse, done by a non-native. Poor little man, suffering White Guilt (the guiltor, not guiltee).

Don't Janists and Druids also believe in Spirit Animals?
Not to mention the fact that anthropology has determined that most pre-historic religions were more animistic and that the anthropomorphic and humanistic deities are considered, historically speaking, to be recent fetishes.

Actually, I have to throw this one out there too...
In Roman Catholicism the depiction of the Dove counts as a Spirit Animal.

Meh, not really, but....
I am absolutely amazed that anyone would jump ugly with someone about their personal spiritualism. I have no problem telling people I am old line Catholic conservative, and when asked, I will tell people what and how I believe. My job, if you wish, is to convert people to my religion. However, I do not shove it in your face, nor will I witness to you without an invite to do so. You want to know what we practice, watch Stefka and I live our lives.
I am tired with the attitude that states that the behavior exhibited by many liberals, especially those that have occupy written on them, is ok. Manners, you fuckers, you don't have them! And, I tell you, beware to the person who assaults me in such a manner. Go ahead, occupy something I own. I know Ghurkas.

Occupy and Tea Party both greatly annoy me.
I turned away attempts to recruit me as an active member by both groups locally.
I believe that the feeling with both was that I'd be influential in recruiting new blood.
Yet both are so half assed and still so sure of themselves that I just wanted to tear them down rather than build them up.

You know that I'm big on personal religious freedom, as well as the inverse, to be free from another's religion, and how sticky both lines are to walk.
To each their own.
Such a painfully simple philosophy that few seem to be able to follow.

Nobody in this day and age should be targeted for their beliefs.
However, in some of my recent writing I've come to realize how much of the base animal still resides within us.
