I'm sick of fucked up power dynamics. It's bullshit. I just don't get this need to control or be controlled. As far as I can see, either way is just motivated by fear. You don't know me. I stumbled on your lj and found your entry interesting and I hope you don't mind me commenting. I think about the issue of fairness a lot. By the way, I'm female. I think we humans have a long way to go toward reaching true equality. We humans are fallible, so I don't think we'll actually get there, not completely, but I hope we can get closer. The double standards I see really bother me and I often feel angry about the way males are treated by some females. I think it's similar to the way males used to treat females (and sometimes still do). I want you to know that there are females who understand what you're talking about and who want to help make our society fair for everyone. When I hear females say things about males that I think aren't right, I try to help them understand the error in what they're saying. I'm hoping that as time goes by more females will "get it" and we humans can work together to create a kinder world where we can treat each individual in a healthy way.
