Have just been wandering around RYL, and came across the following post...is a warning label bout cutting, sp is a tad on the triggering side..please be careful, k? Don't read it if you can't. Think it's where I'm at at the mo, maybe, not sure

God that is all so true :(

i was talking to my housemate (another cutter) last night, and we were just looking at our arms, really looking. it was so depressing. my arms are an ugly mess. i only cut occasionally now, but i used to hack away at the every day. and i can't go back, none of us can - i'm scarred forever, all over my forearms and branching into the tops of my arms...

i wish i'd read this seven years ago when i started...

*hugs*, yeah the scarring's getting to me at the mo, it's not really affected me before, the need to cut has surpassed any feelings of consequence or regret. But now, I have to accept my arms are wrecked forever.

That is SO right, it sums me up so well. I know what you mean PB about wishing you'd read it before although i'm not sure it would have stopped me.
