Where: The refugee clinic.

[She grins at that. Poor John. Working with your roommate - especially one like Sherlock - cannot be easy.]

I wish it were. I've been troubled with a runny nose, a bit of sneezing, and my eyes feel irritated and tired...
I can't help but think it's allergies, but I'm not allergic to anything.

Well, you can develop allergies at any time if you're exposed to something new. And with all the new planets we visit, I'd be a bit surprised if people didn't discover new allergies.

Have you been down on the planet?

The good news is, if you are allergic to something on the planet, you shouldn't have to worry about it once we move on.

Just some restlessness, but I believe that to be more a product of my living quarters than the allergy.

Not to anything much better. [She makes a faintly vexed tisk.] If I had known how slowly one got payraises in a permanent occupation, I might have risked the monthly jobs. But my position at the Opera is quite valuable to me as well.

I recently found out that it is permissible to take more than one job, so perhaps I will be able to move up soon enough.

Just enough. The new production is on July 8th so things are becoming busy quite quickly. But I can manage a little extra something.

Well before you get even busier, let's make sure allergies are all you're dealing with.

[Time to do some doctor things, like check her eyes and ears and have her say "ahh" and all that.]
