Shiro was able to reserve the gymnasium for this class, and a practice wooden sword for each student. He had them go through practice drills, standing before the entire class to bark out orders.

“One… two… three! Aw, come on, is that the best you can do?! You won’t even be able to lift a real sword at this rate! I’m not gonna let any of you go out for lunch until I see perfection from each one of you!”

He simply stands, grinning. Guess who had themselves a filling breakfast this morning?

Y-You're joking, right? Gimmie a break here. This is way different than handling a scythe. Probably because Soul did most of the moving...

Ed shook out his right arm and switched the practice sword back to his left hand. He'd wanted to use the swordmanship class to help reestablish the dominance in his right hand, but his arm was getting tired faster than he'd expected and a dull ache had started in his shoulder.

His stomach growled, loudly.
