Title: If you’d let me, here’s what I’ll do Characters: Brittany/Santana, Quinn (Brittany/Quinn/Santana) Length: 6k. Rating: PG-13/R-ish Spoilers: 3x14 On My Way Summary: She’s dimly aware of the part of her mind that registers that Quinn still isn’t at the chapel. A/N: Shifting POVs. It just sort of worked out that way, sorry.
Beautiful. I loved every single word. Especially how they walk alongside of Quinn, just like always, but ready to be there for her always. This put the hugest smile on my face.
Beautiful... I liked the moment when Santana says: “We weren't there for her either” and after when they support Q all throughout the physiotherapy. Thank you.
Perfect. Absolutely perfect. All my love for this. I have so many feels for the unholy trinity and you just captured all of them wonderfully in this, just exactly the way I picture them. The possessiveness, the protectiveness, the ease in which Brittany and Santana automatically factor Quinn into the equation, how they don't have to think about what to do, they just know what to do. *nods* Perfection. Thank you for this. ♥
I just have so many unholy trinity feels all the damn time. I'm glad you liked the possessiveness and the protectiveness; it's always been my headcanon that it's always sort of been them against the world, that they're fiercely protective of each other but also that they really don't want anyone else. Which feeds into my thing of Quinn always having known about Brittana... etc etc. Anyway. I'm really glad you liked it and thanks for the comment!
You did it again H. The story about Brittana cuddling Quinn watching a movie and now, perfect, this. Again I'm struck by how authentic, healthy romantic love- the kind Brittana finally have- is fundamentally oriented outwards- a mutual embrace of those in need. What's new and most precious in this is the way each girl loves Quinn in her own perfect, physical way - Santana with the annoying foot kicks (a la Cheerios competition) and Brittany by dancing her around the room. All the awards young Jedi.
Gosh, thank you so so much for the lovely comment! I always think that happiness works outwards; Santana used to walk around fighting the world and now she has what she's always wanted, why wouldn't that happiness go out into the world instead? I have a lot of feelings about the unholy trinity expressing their feelings through touch because they haven't always been able to articulate what they mean to each other, so I'm really glad you liked the kicks and the dancing.
Awww, and you made MY day with YOUR comment! Isn't this fandom amazing? I try to review whenever I can't help it, as my little contribution to the wonder that's Brittana (though I'm kind of getting nauseous seeing briefly what I just saw on Tumblr re Naya/Heather) - anyway it's nice to know y'all actually read these comments.-Lisa
Yeah, due to timezone issues I was lucky enough to sleep through the Naya/Heather stuff, and I follow such quality people that it never really came up on my dash, thankfully. I really do appreciate the comments! Thanks again!
