what's your favorite song right now? I need something to listen to, take my mind off everything. today was nearly tears/nearly fainting/nearly punching several people in the face. fucking intense.

i think they're pretty good. i mean, a band that uses alliteration AND allusion in their name... you can't hate them for that! ;) no, think there's too much hype about them for their own good, but the songs are pretty catchy and all.

oh and thanks for sticking up for me, but i did ask him what his opinion was. i was kinda asking for it, wasn't i? and i didn't have to like what his response was. i'm sorry we messed up your nice post though...

hey, no problem, I actually love all the songs/bands you named there, (BSS, TV on the Radio, The Stills, etc), but no one can say that Joy Division, The Smiths, and The Cure aren't fucking brilliant, at least not around me. he's a great friend to me and I respect his opinions, but I still think you have excellent taste.

no worries though darling, everyone has a different opinion about indie/emo, and his post was more to make me laugh than than anything. and I will have to check out Franz Ferdinand, for sure.
