Gratuitous "stay alive, LJ" post.  I have some fun undergrad adventures recorded here for posterity, as it happens, and I'd be sad to lose them.

So, on occasion, my mother randomly watches television shows with Jai and I. Oh, she pretends she's not, but she's as big a Supernatural fangirl as the rest of us. I am jittering out of my mind from way too much tea and research and no biologist has written anything, *ever*, about the habitat preferences and dietary requirements of rock cod and I am. So. Damned. Tired. of researching northwest Atlantic inshore fish I could vomit everywhere.

We were walking along the cliff trail today towards Hannam's Cove at the end of the island. It was hot, and the sun was refelcting off the stillest, calmest water I've ever seen. I am back from England.

I had fun.

I am gone again on Wednesday for at least a month.

I just cut my hair really short. 1940s film-star short.

I have to pack again, and I'd rather be in Hell with a broken back.
