Nice to see this posted. And to see Bad Wolf making a return. It so deserved to be explored more in the show, at least the consequences on Rose.

There's really only one thing I can say, and it's THANK YOU!!! :) Now, to start writing the next one so you don't have to wait a month to proof-read it.

And I do agree, it's sad that there seemed to be no visible consequences in the show of Rose having absorbed the Time Vortex. For me, that immediately makes her more than just another human.

I can already tell I am going to love this story.

The things I love here:

1) Your evocative descriptive style. I adore it.
2) HE WATCHES HER SLEEP!!!1111 XD XD
3) "He finds himself unable to think of a single reason to leave right now, even though he knows the list truly is a long one."
4) "his lips about to part under hers, only to realize that there was something wrong. Very Wrong. Extremely Wrong. Incredible, cosmically magnitudes of Wrong. Damn Cassandra."

Hee XD

Also, thanks for putting me in the acknowledgments over at Time & Chips -- completely unnecessary! But very nice of you to think to do so =)

I'm glad you are liking the story so far. And yes, that particular reason... it really is hard for the Doctor to deny Rose.

*goes to plot more ways to torture the Doctor until he gives in and trashes his silly list* :)

"And Slitheen could not conceivably tap dance. Now, if you had only mentioned a Sontaran marching band..."

Sooo Doctor and sooo funny.

The end part in the Doctor's POV was really fantastic. Really touching and a little sad.

This is my favorite bit:

"The Doctor closes his eyes, not before glancing casually at the oval mirror on the vanity facing the bed, observing the picture they make together, unable to look at it for too long.

It stirs too many things that have been dormant for ages. Things that should remain that way. Better for all involved."

You end on an intriguing bit! Can't wait to see more.

I am glad you liked that line! It made me giggle quite a bit while writing it, wanted to make sure it sounded Doctor-ish enough.

You pointed out another line I like. Ten might put on an act, might even fool others, but in the end, he can't fool himself. He just chooses denial and playing dumb when it suits him.

Hopefully, it won't take me too long to complete it, although next chapter is also going to be a lengthy one.
