Took my questions over to the staffing place. Waited while one associate, then the other read through my long essay bullshit answers to their stupid bullshit questions. So, as previously mentioned, I got a new phone. It is so awesome and perty I almost can't stand it. My plan was up for renewal and I desperately needed a new phone from my old piece of crap. So, I was spending my usual several hours on Career Builder trying to find a job. A nice Customer Service position grabbed my attention and I decided to send my resume. This job opportunity pays well at over $13 per hr. It's listed by a staffing company, which also happens to list a contact name and number for the person responsible for filling ( Read more... ) -

Several recent events have occurred this past week worthy of note.
1. Having been sending out resumes like crazy. Have not had anyone call me yet to set up an interview. I did, however, find a company that is immediately hiring a bunch of inbound customer service reps for their call center. However, they will not even speak to you until you' ( Read more... ) -

I'm legal now
Done getting my Texas driver's license. First you have to wait in line for the information desk. This is the preliminary filter that weeds those without all the proper documentation from going forward. I then had to fill out a form and get in a second line to actually be seen by someone that can give me my license. Ahead of me is an older ( Read more... )
