geez, i have so much to put in here that there is no way that i could fit into one post. i'll try and do some. but i'm still alive and all is looking well. officer training officially begins for me on Febuary 27th. so...6 more months in iowa. i'll make the most of it.

i really miss skimboarding.

i got a cellphone for myself.  my first cellphone ever.  i guess i'm behind the times.  but since i'm going to flight school now, i'll need it.

i've been decommssioned from the gym for the day because i hurt my knee running last night, so i figured i'd do this entry.  now whenever i bend my knee, underneath my kneecap it sounds and feels like rice krispys [SNAP CRACKLE POP], and sends a sharp pain down my shin.  any runners out there have an idea as to what happened?

I [sort of] have solved the mystery of why there are so many beautiful women in eastern iowa.

Mom was going through some local demographics recently, and pointed out that 25% of Cedar Rapids population is Czech, and there is a very strong eastern european bloodline here.  that pretty much explains it all.
