Still having thinkies...
So I mentioned here last time that I'd be working on a steampunk series, and obviously I haven't got around to it yet. Part of my problem is coming up with a story for my character...a reason to care about him, something to make him interesting rather than just generic adventurer guy. I'm hearing a lot lately about how all this technology that's supposed to help us out is just complex enough to be annoying when it breaks down. My take has always been that the more steps you put between ends of a process, the more apt it is to go awry.
