Caution: may cause side effectsmib_khanJune 25 2008, 14:23:46 UTC
Khan looked down at his experimental animal one more time. The hair treatment derived from Hurrrg DNA worked, but it still had one potential side effect. ifix had been exposed at one point to TGMR, and it turned his hair "Big Bird" yellow. Khan had tried to locate the bug in either TGMR or the Hurrrg genome that caused the problem, but with no luck. "The perversity of the universe tends towards a maximum," he thought, quoting Finagle. "If the Storviks become perverse, they might also become chartreuse. And there ain't nothin' I can do about it."

"So, umm, Storvik," another Khan on the bridge asked the captain, "how do you feel about blond hair? Theoretically, I mean?" "Hair color is irrelevant," the Vulcan responded. "I have bleached my hair to a color approximating 'blond' in the past, for diplomatic purposes while interacting with a humanoid species whose hair was universally pale; but apart from that or some other specific cause, there is no logical reason why one should be concerned with the color of their hair." As Khan nodded and smirked to himself, Lieutenant Heavens inquired, "But Captain, doesn't your wife color her hair?" "She has assured me that there is a perfectly logical rationale for that," Storvik replied. "She just will not tell me what it is."
