where did the mirror communication theory come from? should beginning stylists practice this theory while trying to build their clientelle?

it was part of the training at regis. the new place prefers that you sit at eye level with the client and speak directly to them during consultation. the second approach seems to me the most personable for new stylists, but i think you should look down your nose at everyone that sits in your chair.

i don't doubt floridians are nicer, not for a second. people in this country probably do get nicer the further south they're found. maybe warmer climates equal warmer temperaments? it makes sense.
