Mid-October is better than nothing!

I know you're hating it in here, but I'm trying to make things as entertaining as possible, but there's only a certain number of things you can do in a hospital room, even one as nice and private as this one.

But, on the bright side, I think we've taught a few nurses around here to knock and actually wait for an answer instead of knocking and then just barging in~

I'm headed back to the hospital now, anything you want me to bring you?

But it's September, Fran. September. Means I have another month and a half in this Hell on Earth establishment and I spent most of August locked up in here as well! Yes, I have brain damage, but you can't do anything else to fix it now, so let me go!

If you start bringing board games, I will crucify you.

They should be waiting for an answer anyway! It's bad manners to just waltz into a room the way they do! Even as a nurse, they should know better!

Nothing I can think of, but you should stay here with me as well! The Dean has said pregnant women shouldn't go out until this has been cleared up. So ha, enjoy the incarceration.

Well, most things I have, you're not allowed to have in a hospital.

I don't suppose you're a video game fan?

I have an extra system or two laying around here. Otherwise I'm not sure what you could do.

What about weelchair racing down the hallway with someone?

Uh...

I'm sorry. Maybe this is rude, but I don't remember you. At all. Probably the fault of the brain damage. My apologies.

Who are you...?

Never really met I guess, but I've heard your name mentioned here and there, mostly in Kairi's journal.

Name's Zack.

Baltheer or something like that, right?

Mid-October? You'll be able to make the auditions, won't you? I couldn't imagine anyone else as the leading man.

I'm sorry, but I can't help you with remembering much. We never really discussed anything from before we met. If you want me to accompany you to Archades, you know I'm always ready for another adventure.

An unknown number...have you tried reverse look-up?

And I'm afraid I don't have much for you to avoid the dreaded cabin fever. You've read all of the books that I own, and you probably don't want to help me with Quantum Mechanics.
Unless, of course, you do want to help with QM, in which case I'll be over as soon as my classes are through.

Thanks for the other day. I truly needed that slap in the face. I'm still coming to terms with the diagnosis, but you helped like no other.

As long as all of this stuff with people getting ill has blown over by then, I should make it without difficulty. It's mostly observation and tests and needles.

An adventure... hmm... sounds good. Game for an adventure, my good friend?

I have, but I just get this elongated number I don't recognise. Whenever I try to call it, I either get caught by my care nurse or I get interference. I need to get outside...

Quantum Mechanics? You know, I'm just about desperate enough to help you. I'm sure Fran will be useful to you as well. Come by whenever!

How long have I been your friend now? I'd expect the same courtesy from you. It's what good friends do for each other

It should. It seems like it just might be some bug that's making the rounds, but then again, I'm not an epidemiologist.

As soon as this damn cast is cut off my arm. I'm no good to anyone with my good arm out of commission. It's wonderful for hitting someone with, but other than that, it's a hindrance.

If the number's longer than ten digits, then something truly strange is going on.

It's one of the more challenging maths courses. Calc was getting a little stale for me, and I had the room in my schedule.
I'll stop by after Classroom Management is finished, if you don't mind. I hope those cookies havehaven't kept multiplying!

God knows...thirteen years? I do recall having to hold you back from what could have been a large and bloody fight junior year...are we even, then?

Oh, it hasn't seriously been declared an epidemic, has it? These people and their bloody fear-mongering...

How long until that's off, then? You know, you should bring Aeris as well, if she's up for it. You'll have to be active on ship, though. Last thing I want is for the Archadian army to find out I'm back...

I don't know anything about foreign dial-out codes, but I know that it isn't a domestic line. I'll get out into the gardens on the hospital grounds and call the number back.

It's not too bad. If I can do it, I think anyone can manage it. Then again, I remember coming from a wealthy family, so I'm sure my parents paid for someone to inject the knowledge into my brain. That and having Fran around can have its benefits...

And I'm not sorry to announce that the cookies have multiplied yet again. Oat and Raisin, Chocolate Chip, Coconut... I don't know why I have so many!

I remember that fight... you know I would have won. But still, I guess in that respect, I owed you a save.

Well, my fellow jail-bird, how about I bring over the movies my friend left here last night? :3 He also ordered one too many pizzas, so I can bring that too! Aaaaand I have video games on my laptop, I can bring that as well!

And then we can go outside to the lake and feed the turtles? I mean, if they'll let ME go outside, they should let YOU go outside, as long as we stay in the courtyards, right?

See? Lots of fun things to do in hospitals, you just gotta look for them!

This is worse than jail. You can break out of jail. If I even flinch in this asylum, I get jumped on by at least three members of staff!

I'd say going out on the grounds will be alright, as long as we stay away from the quarantined ward they have set up for the bad cases that have come in. But I have a friend coming by later. We're going to do his Quantum Mechanics homework together. Between my airship and Fran, I'm pretty well-versed in the subject.

Someone suggested a wheelchair race... wanna try that someday?

I almost got out of here a few nights ago! But someone just as small and only half as blonde made me think twice, and I just ended up sitting on the bench outside. ._.;

I've got Cloud coming to visit soon. His note said he wanted to come see me "right away" but he sent it a few hours ago when I was still asleep, and I don't know when or if he's still coming at all. :( So yeah, when our designated buddies leave, we'll go roll in the grass. 8D

Quantum Mechanics, you say~? *gloat!* AND OH! Speaking of airships! My daddy finally got the family project off the ground! :3 YEEEE! It's like watching your toddler take her first steps. X3 I wish I could have been there...

A race you say? >3 Bring it on, little man!

Well, to be honest, you shouldn't be going outside with all these people getting sick anyway. I just want to get out and practice this whole walking thing.

Sounds like a plan!

And as for that crack about me being a little man... I'm twice your height and about ten years your senior, so I don't think you can call me a little man. And I think Fran would dispute it too :P
