[Why not video you ask? Because Jack figured out the alternate functions on this handy-dandy journal, and he's not dressed presentably at the moment. Oh he has clothes on, but not up to his own standards. Coat, vest, and neck-cloth had all been removed and his shirt was untucked from his trousers. Hello, my love. [Getting out of shoes now. Which have snow on them. It's not snowing now but there's still some on the ground outside. So.]

Not too cold yet for you?

[He worries about you Mr. 'I love heat'. Especially with your hands. Don't think he isn't sneaking a glance at them. Like he could tell just by sight how they were.]

Geez... y'must a' cut heck of a lot a' wood! [He pauses a moment, an old Major Circuit opponent coming to mind - Bear Hugger.] Are you one a' them lumberjacks, or somethin'?

Not a lumberjack by any means, lad. And I never intend to serve the occupation.

But I have indeed chopped more than necessary for two people.

[To be honest, he'd began to cut enough for say...a family of four or five some time ago and lost his train of thought to it. Back in his own world, Jack had a new family and while he never truly stayed with them long, he missed Sophie and his children terribly.]

[Lad - that is how Captain Jack has been addressing him, he muses. Maybe this fellow was another pirate.]

Oh. Yeah. Bet a lot a' people will be real thankful for the work that y'did.

Better to distribute the health.

[Even he can tell that's not right.]

I trust I find you in good spirits, Miss Ginia?

I think it's wealth.

Yes, very good spirits in fact. [Being a kid for a week certainly does wonders on relieving stress.] And you, Mr. Aubrey?

Last year and the year before had normal winter weather, including some difficulty with snow. This year will likely be the same.

I'm fine. I'm also preparing for winter.

[Getting things ready around the house and, more importantly, the clinic. It's just about flu season.]

Not as much as that, Miss Jilly but I may have been outdoors since near daybreak.

[He needs a hobby asap.]
