I loved how you started this so lightly and then transformed it into a dark fic accompanying Clark's mood. It's just great Meg and I already told you that tons of times... I loved how Clark focused on the one small thing that was 'good' about this rather than judge Lex by the whole situation. It all rocks. *hugs*

*hugs* Thank you! I think that when I started it, I knew it was going to be dark but Clark is not a dark man. He's shiny, happy and this person who happens to deal in darkness while it doesn't touch him. And I wanted to show the progression of that.

And I think for Clark and Lex, it will always be the little things that destroy them and make them into what they are. It's who they are, the big gestures are fantastic but it's the little problems over and over that will eventually bring them down.

Why mess with destiny, you know?

Lex hasn’t moved, his body tense and prepared for another reminder that he has never been a good man. Another reassurance that he never was.

It’s like being seventeen and watching your best friend get electrocuted because you can’t look away and you were just too late.

Every heartbeat has been a measurement of the times he’s failed.

Owww.. That's so beautiful. I love your beginning with the details and comments on Clark's (lol, ‘Get Bigger Dick Now’ for Bruce). And I love how Clark doesn't do anything because he saw Lex hesitate. And I absolutely love the ending. It's just crying out for a sequel ;) Please?
