I absolutely loved this. It's dark and dreary and almost tragically hopeful. I love the running theme of heartbeats that twists throughout it. I love that you don't give us any kind of background as to how they ended up here. Heck, when Clark was thinking about Warrior Angel, I thought it was for Lex. I figured they were at least still friends. Wasn't till the fifth viewing of the video that it became clear they weren't. Lex has me really curious, too. What he was thinking when Supes came to see him. Before the video, after. I don't suppose we're going to find out?

I seriously can't wait to see what you write next in this verse.
