My parents were going away for most of yesterday and I was babysitting the dog while they were gone. I was taking the ten o'clock bus from my place, at which time my parents had already left. And I was thinking to myself as I left that if I lost the bus or elseways got delayed, I'd just call the house.

I've officially turned 30.

I'm old.

Oh what the heck, let's just say that I'm twenty-ten, eh? :)

I watched an episode of the Oprah show tonight, and Jon Stewart was on, and he is shorter than Oprah! He's so tiny that I just want to pick him up and hug him and put him in my pocket. Or maybe put him in George Clooney's pocket. ;)

I am having two consecutive days off for the first time in a long time. Initially there were going to be more wonderful days off, but my boss just called to inform me that I have late shifts tomorrow and Friday, along with working the weekend. Fingers crossed for Wednesday and Thursday.
