Science is agnostic about everything, to a point. It's scientists who draw conclusions from the data they collect and how well it fits with prior theory. While these conclusions are never entirely 100% correct, this wrongness is very much relative.

So there. :-)

>Although it IS opposed to creationist theories, but then so is a lot of physics probably, it's just creationist don't understand it well enough to argue about it.

You appear to have implied that creationists understand evolutionary biology...

That's because I kept my writing brief. Essentially subjects like biology appear more accessible so people who have done no research into it feel they are entitled to an opinion none-the-less. With, say, quantum mechanics, people feel less entitled to make an opinion because of the nature of the subject appears more impenetrable.

The things creationsist say about evolution (my favourite one is "if we evolved from monkeys, why do we still have monkeys?") shows a vast ignorance and a lack of understanding at the most elementary level. Yet, despite the very very obvious fact that they have no scientific knowledge they still feel they are entitled equal footing in the 'debate' with people who study the subject as a career.
