I got an owl from my parents, and we're trying to see if we lot can meet soon. Irene can't go to my parents's house, because when I was a kid they put charms around the place so I could fly around with my broom and not be seen, and they haven't taken them down. That means they'll probably have to come visit us in Nottingham, and since this is their ( Read more... )

This is rather personal, hm! I wouldn't want anyone to get the wrong idea... Er, this just sounds bad. It doesn't have to do with me, you see, it has to do with you. And your personal life.

You know, given my situation, my personal life is forever and always spread all over these things. You can't make it any worse.

What do you want?

Oh, I guess that's a good point! I just don't know if you've noticed this, however.

Okay. I'm not sure how to explain this. See, when somebody starts a relationship, there's a certain degree of lust, and it's a novelty. An exciting novelty. But all novelties end up wearing off, and when you've been in a relationship for a long time, sometimes (I'm not saying this is the case!) a person misses that novelty that was there in the beginning. Some couples try to do new things, like going on trips, or roleplaying in bed. But even then, these experiments might not work. And so, people end up looking for that novelty outside of the couple...

Do you know what I'm trying to get at?

You know as well as I do that my personal life is generally strewn about for public consumption anyway, but did you really think I'd do something like that to Terry?

This is where I'd usually explain why sometimes good people make mistakes, but that would be mixing social and business life again, wouldn't it? Heh. Anyway, you might be surprised if you knew how many people don't tell their spouses and significant others when they've started a new relationship, and that just leads to trouble.
