This whole people dying thing is pissing me off!

It's wreaking havoc on the potential customer market for my new restaurant!

If you need some swords to go with the fucking stabby stabby to help out, I'm all for it!

Unacceptable.

We must try to prevent bloodshed, not bring more of it. While it is ultimately necessary, we must wait for the right opportunity.

... For example, when we know precisely who we are looking for.

Prevent bloodshed? Pssh. Fine.

Then ya need to know if one of those crazy fuckers comes near my restaurant, I'm carving them new assholes.

And you wouldn't be interested in stopping by to give business to a semi-new restaurant, would you?

The time constraints of my work may limit my freedom in that respect; it's been a long time since I've been able to eat properly for lack of the time to prepare. However, I'll see what I can do. It'd be nice to be able to take them somewhere avoid cooking for a night or two.

People dying, sir? That's never good, sir.

Were you the one who had his shoes called ugly, sir? That's not very nice to say about someone's shoes, sir.

Indeed it isn't, but I'm quit accustomed to the criticism of my fashion taste these days. They can say what they will; my clothes are a great deal more comfortable than their's.

... I believe Elena still has one of my coats.

I think comfort is what matters, sir.

And Miss Elena sir has one of your coats, sir? That's nice of you to give her, sir.

Agreed. For example, one might say fur coats are unfashionable, but you wear yours rather well.

It wasn't so much given as... borrowed indefinitely. Though I can't say I mind. It suits her far better.

You seem somewhat late to the game. As I understand it, the trick is to laugh when the shoes get stolen, not when they're returned.

Come on, Shoezy. You just aren't Shoezy without your shoes...

A man's shoes is one of those things you don't tamper with.

But sometimes deaths are unavoidable, I think, especially in a place as full of sinners as this.

It'd seem that cats aren't familiar with such a rule. The material is quite chewed.

Perhaps. I don't believe we can hope for a permanent peace - I know the nature of people too well. But this is simply beyond acceptable limits, and the barbarism is not something I will sit by and permit any longer.

Cats?

I don't think cats respect any boundaries, they're cats.

Necessary damages are one thing, barbarism another. I agree, sir.

I'm Plainview. Daniel Plainview, though most people call me Mr. Plainview.

Particularly those who don't respect the boundaries of the language barrier. I've never had any problems with cats who knew better than to start talking.

A pleasure, Mr. Plainview. I am Shu.

Last night was a long night, apparently.

Do you suppose? It seems to me, when much happens in a short space of time, that time moves a great deal faster.

Someone was shot in Devil's Nest, it hardly makes for fast moving time.
