The time constraints of my work may limit my freedom in that respect; it's been a long time since I've been able to eat properly for lack of the time to prepare. However, I'll see what I can do. It'd be nice to be able to take them somewhere avoid cooking for a night or two.

Indeed it isn't, but I'm quit accustomed to the criticism of my fashion taste these days. They can say what they will; my clothes are a great deal more comfortable than their's.

Agreed. For example, one might say fur coats are unfashionable, but you wear yours rather well.

It wasn't so much given as... borrowed indefinitely. Though I can't say I mind. It suits her far better.

Perhaps. I don't believe we can hope for a permanent peace - I know the nature of people too well. But this is simply beyond acceptable limits, and the barbarism is not something I will sit by and permit any longer.
