Already on it. I even saw them at Coachella. Strong sense of melody and good pop-worthy rhythms. But more serious. They're doing what everyone thinks of as white rock right now but they're black guys and it shows! They have a more soulful sound that I dig. However, they don't do anything particularly clever or innovative. I think that's why I don't talk to other people about them so much. They do have this really rough, gritty-sounding bass that I love, though. A little bit of electronic-sounding drums here and there too. "Staring at the Sun" is my favorite song of theirs I've heard so far. I only have 'Desperate Youth, Blood Thirsty Babes' and 'Young Liars' though. I dig that they do little a capella revivals. They sound like a black barber shop quintet with a little string bass.
I look forward to listening together some time and discussing in person... In front of a keyboard/guitar.
