Yup, we are not going to be able to get a house and not just the one we were hoping to get, but NO house at all. We returned from Dragon*Con thinking all was well. My hubby returned to work today to find out he was fired for standing up for himself during a employee review. Anyway, it all comes down to us going back to eating ramen more often and

That is sad news. I'm so sorry. I know this feeling all too well. Hopefully next year. In fact, you may find an even better house next year, and you'll say to yourselves "Boy, isn
it it great how we couldn't buy that house last year so we could get this one instead?" It's cold comfort now, but future you may be watching you through a time machine, saying to herself "It gets better! I promise!"
