c2e2 is a newer con and a lot of people are still unaware of it because of the bigger shows like SDCC and NYCC.

I think the turn out will be a lot better next year. With the economy being the way it is, most people are just saving up for SDCC, but I think once they realize the circus it has become then the smaller cons will be much more attractive.

True that it was the first year for C2E2, but they did amazing in terms of attendees. The preliminary count of attendees was around 27,000 which is the same size as Otakon (running for 8+ years). At Otakon (even with the economy as is) I do at least four times as much business. In my personal experience, comic cons (even ones that have run for years) I am less well received than at anime conventions. No biggie, though. I'll just continue to hit comic conventions once every few years for the networking opportunities it provides, but not count on it for income.

This reminds me that I will miss hanging out with you and Robin this year. Last year was so fun! Also, I never got to have dinner with you folks. I owe you all one for helping me out so much. :3
