i was on the treadmill at the gym the other day and i found an ipod, just sitting there. i thought to myself, someone stole my ipod...is this karma coming back at me, giving me this ipod?! but my conscience got me and i turned it in. so i did my good deed. even though by all karmic rights i am owed an ipod

Karma sucks, girlie. God's grace is a much better deal--mess up and be truly sorry for it, and it doesn't come around to kick your butt quite as badly. Karma has no sympathy.

You are a beautiful woman and a wonderful friend. I know it's not me you want the appreciation from, but I do appreciate you. Don't live your life based on what other people think of you. Be satisfied with who you are, because you are an awesome person, and live for a greater purpose than what other people think (although encouragement does help some). Do your actions warrant praise and appreciation? Most definitely. But don't throw pearls to swine, because to swine, it's just something else to eat and poop out.

So don't keep company with swine. Instead, keep company with Jewelers.
