Tonite, at work, we got super-slammed 'cause of the Heat game. One of the closing servers had a large party in his section, which had been there for a while. After just-shy of three and a half years with the company, I am no longer with Hot Topic. And thank goodness, too, 'cause that should have taken place a long time ago. Ah, Easter. To me, it's a nice holiday if you have a family and kids around, but if you don't, it's just another excuse to spend money. Now, don't get me wrong; I like the thought of it; everyone gathering and having dinner and chocolate and stuff, while kids are playing and hunting for eggs and such ( Read more... )

This weekend, me and my parents went to a nursery and bought a bunch of new plants. Mostly for cosmetic reasons, sure, but we also bought a tree. And, while I've never been one to read into things much, I must admit that planting the new tree ties in pretty well to all the changes going on in my life right now.
