Most guys don't? If that's true... then most guys are jerks.

It's not necessarily that they don't talk through them. It's entirely in the way they respond. I've told guys some pretty heavy things before and either in that moment, or somewhere down the line, they threw it back in my face. "oh, you're doing this wrong again." I've had guys make me feel like complete crap for just feeling.

Or I've had guys forget the whole "listen" factor and decide that they'll only respond with the ways they think they can "fix" me. Sometimes, all you need is someone to listen... or even just a gentle response. It doesn't have to be all in your face.

There are numerous reasons why I don't like opening up to people, guys, at times. Those are just two of them.

Maybe it's just the guys I've been close to, but yeah, there's some jerks out there.
